On the 16th of November, 2024, Vibgyor Group of Schools hosted an incredible event, THE STARS ENSEMBLE, celebrating the diverse talents of young minds. From captivating dance performances to soulful music and poetry recitations, the competition brought together students from various institutions for an amazing showcase of skill and creativity.
Our own Shaktis made their mark at the competition, bringing their unique fusion of Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Yoga to the stage. This was an extraordinary performance and a testament to their hard work, discipline and passion for their skill.
Radiating Talent
In Round 1, the Radiate Round, the Shaktis delivered a mesmerizing 90 second performance of a breathtaking excerpt from their full performance in Vande-Mataram, standing out among 25 participants.
From their admirable intricate hand gestures of Bharatnatyam blended with the seamless movements of Yoga along with Kathak, every element was a great fusion of tradition with modern artistry. The diverse performances included singing, poem recitation, dance and more. Their dedication paid off as they advanced to the second round among the top 12 performers.
Elevating the Audience
In the second round, our Shaktis delivered a flawless performance on “Vande-Mataram”. The hall erupted with applause and cheers as their graceful and synchronized steps enchanted everyone. The choreography weaved together intricate classical dance techniques and Yoga poses, presenting a masterful performance that celebrated India’s cultural heritage. The judges rewarded them with a standing ovation, declaring them the winners of the Elevate Round.
Reaching New Heights
With their victory in the 2nd round, the Shaktis advanced to the 3rd round, which was broadcasted live on Vibgyor – Viva’s YouTube channel on 30th November. Competing against the best teams from across the country, the competition was high. Although the Shaktis didn’t progress beyond this round, their journey in The Stars Ensemble was an unforgettable experience.
Reflections on Growth and Learning
The Shaktis’ participation in The Stars Ensemble was about much more than winning. Performing on such a big and prestigious stage, alongside with talented participants as peers, gave them an invaluable opportunity to grow as individuals and as a team.
It was a journey of growth, learning and achievement for our Shaktis. Their participation demonstrated their courage, creativity and perseverance. Their success in advancing through multiple rounds, boosted their confidence and fueled their determination to continue refining their skills.
Inspiring Others
The Shaktis performance in The Stars Ensemble serves as a reminder that success is not merely about winning and trophies but about the courage to stand on the stage in front of various people, the commitment to give one’s best and the ability to inspire others through one’s journey.
As we celebrate their achievement, we look forward to seeing the Shaktis continue to break barriers push boundaries and light the way for others to follow.
