There are moments in life that etch themselves into memory, not just for the places visited, but for the emotions they stir and the bonds they build. For the vibrant and spirited intern teachers from Sarvam Shakti Foundation at The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj, one such unforgettable moment came in the form of a four-day sponsored trip to Goa ,a journey that felt like a dream, dipped in the golden hues of freedom, laughter, and discovery.

Sunset over a serene beach with silhouetted figures walking along the shore. The sky is a gradient of orange hues, creating a tranquil mood.

The trip brought together around 90 teachers from the school, each carrying with them a heart full of curiosity and excitement. The group was hosted at the beautiful Riva Beach Resort, a haven nestled in the calming lap of nature, where the rhythm of the waves echoed the pulse of joy and contentment that flowed through every Shakti’s soul. For many of the Shaktis, this was a trip of many firsts. Some boarded a plane for the first time in their lives experiencing the thrill of takeoff, the magic of soaring above the clouds, and the wonder of landing in a world so different yet so welcoming. The skies held not just the airplane but also dreams that once seemed out of reach.

Goa greeted them with open arms and sunlit beaches. The days were filled with exploration and activities that brought them closer not just to the place, but to themselves and each other. From walking barefoot on the soft sands, to watching sunsets melt into the Arabian Sea, every moment was a gentle reminder of the beauty of stillness and simplicity.

One of the highlights of the journey was dining at The Tomatos and Seaside Restaurant in Morjim. There, amidst the sea breeze and rhythmic music, the Shaktis relished authentic Goan cuisine ,flavors that told tales of the land, the culture, and its warmth. It wasn't just about food; it was about belonging to a larger circle, sharing meals, stories, and smiles with fellow educators who, like them, are driven by purpose and passion.

The trip wasn’t just a getaway, it was a celebration of womanhood, empowerment, and unity. The Shaktis, each on their own journey, found strength in shared silence, joy in shared laughter, and hope in shared dreams. It was a soulful pause from their regular schedules, a chance to breathe, heal, and grow amidst the nurturing spirit of nature and community. As they returned to Delhi, hearts fuller than their suitcases, one thing was clear ,they carried back more than just memories.

They carried inspiration, gratitude, and a renewed sense of self. In every breeze that touched their face in Goa, they had found a whisper of encouragement. In every wave, a call to keep moving forward.

This trip was not just a travel diary, it was a chapter of transformation, and each Shakti wrote her own version of it with grace and courage. Here’s to many more journeys ,both within and beyond.
