  • A Journey to Inner Peace: Our Consciousness-Based Education Workshop

From August 25th to 28th , our Sarvam Shakti family embarked on a profound and enriching journey with a special Consciousness-Based Education workshop. We were honored to host Vaidyanathan Vivek Ji and his dedicated team from the renowned Maharishi Vedic University, the Netherlands. Their presence and wisdom brought a new dimension to our mission of holistic empowerment. Day 1: A Beautiful Introduction The workshop kicked off with an inspiring morning session for our staff and well-wishers. Vivek Ji introduced us to the core principles and fascinating origins of Consciousness-Based Education, sharing its unique, results-oriented approaches. Guests were treated to a wonderful experience, enjoying the beautiful ambiance and nourishing Satvik food that complemented the enlightening discussions. In the evening, the excitement was palpable as our beloved Shaktis participated in their own session. Their enthusiasm for soaking in this profound wisdom was truly inspiring, setting a beautiful tone for the days ahead. Day 2: Deepening Our Practice Day two was all about deepening our practice. The focus shifted to invaluable feedback from Day 1, particularly on the "homework" of meditating in the mornings and evenings. Our staff, well-wishers, and especially our Shaktis, engaged in insightful discussions about how to practice the techniques correctly. Vivek Ji and his team guided us through the essential steps to follow before, during, and after the meditation, ensuring everyone felt confident and supported in their journey toward inner peace. Day 3: The Science of Meditation On Day 3, the journey inward continued with an in-depth session on the meditation cycle. After taking feedback from the previous days, Vaidyanathan Vivek Ji and his team explained how meditation works by taking us from the surface level of active thoughts to a state of deep rest. This process is key to how our bodies naturally release stresses, which can emerge in different physical and emotional forms. The guests and our Shaktis learned that these practices are not just about quietening the mind, but also about a deep physiological process that promotes healing and balance. Day 4: A Profound Conclusion On Day 4, the concluding day of our workshop, we delved into the profound topic of higher states of consciousness. Vivek Ji and the team from Maharishi Vedic University guided us through understanding these advanced states and emphasized the critical role of consistency  in our meditation practice. The session included final meditations, sharing heartfelt feedback from all participants, and reinforcing the techniques learned over the four days. Everyone left with a deeper understanding of how to continue their journey toward greater inner peace and holistic well-being. A Post-Workshop Follow-up To ensure everyone felt confident and supported in their journey, we held a follow-up session on September 13th . We were able to check in with participants to see how their meditation practices were going, address any questions, and conclude the workshop experience. It was a wonderful way to reinforce our commitment to personal growth and holistic well-being. A Heartfelt Thank You This transformative workshop would not have been possible without the vision of our founder, Nehha Ma’am , who continually champions holistic development for our girls. A special thank you also goes to Hemangi Ma’am  for her meticulous arrangements and seamless coordination. We extend our deepest gratitude to Vaidyanathan Vivek Ji and his dedicated team—Ravi Ji, Rohit Ji, and Srinivas Sir—for their profound knowledge, patient guidance, and inspiring presence. Immense appreciation goes to our incredible Shaktis  for their enthusiastic participation and to all our cherished guests who made this workshop an unforgettable experience. This workshop has reinforced our belief that true empowerment stems from within, and we are excited to carry this newfound clarity and peace forward!

  • A Dream on Wheels: Our Bus Is Here and She's Beautiful

Some moments are so big, so filled with emotion, they are impossible to put into words. Last month was a collection of those moments, a testament to what happens when love, strength, and community come together. Our story begins on July 6, 2025 , at the Rotary Club Installation Ceremony in Gurgaon. After a soul-stirring performance by our 90 Shaktis, a moment that left us all speechless unfolded. The Gugnani family  made a life-changing announcement: they were generously donating a brand new bus to Sarvam Shakti, a gift worth ₹24 lakhs . For years, the daily commute between our centers had been a constant challenge, a hurdle our girls faced with immense courage. This donation wasn't just a gift; it was a solution, a promise of comfort, safety, and dignity. Then came the day we had all been waiting for. On August 1st , she arrived. Our very own bus—fully ready, with AC installed, and beautifully branded with our logo. Seeing that bus pull up felt like a dream on wheels. It’s more than just a vehicle; it’s a moving symbol of support and sisterhood, a reminder that our community believes in us and the limitless possibilities ahead. Our first trip was one we’ll never forget. On August 15th , Independence Day, our Shaktis took their inaugural ride. The bus was filled not just with girls, but with laughter, excitement, and immense pride. It was a joyful, comfortable, and dignified journey—the perfect way to celebrate both our nation's freedom and our newfound freedom from travel challenges. This entire journey has been a testament to the fact that when our girls give their heart and soul, the universe gives it back tenfold. A heartfelt thank you to the Gugnani family, the Rotary Club, our incredible founder Nehha Ma’am , Hemangi Ma’am , our mentors, and every single Shakti. You are the heart and soul of this movement, and it is with your love and passion that our girls are truly growing. This is what love, strength, and sisterhood looks like. And our hearts are full.

  • 90 Shaktis Take Over the Stage at Rotary International, Gurugram

On 6th July, 2025  evening at the beautiful Orana Conventions, Sector 65, Gurugram , something extraordinary unfolded. 90 of our Shaktis from Delhi and Gurgaon  walked into a hall full of dignitaries and members of the Rotary International Club , and walked out leaving the audience spellbound. The sight of so many young girls standing shoulder to shoulder, each carrying her own story of discipline and growth, yet blending into a single wave of energy, was breathtaking. Ninety of them together, moving as one, on a stage this grand was a milestone in itself.  For us, it was more than a performance; it was proof of what collective strength and opportunity can create. “When ninety voices become one, the sound is unforgettable. When ninety steps move together, the world cannot look away. For us, it was a reminder that when girls rise together, they change the rhythm of society itself.” The Power of Opportunity When we talk about women empowerment, it often sounds like a distant, complicated idea. But in that hall, the meaning was simple and alive: give a girl an opportunity, and watch her bloom. Our Shaktis did not just dance; they carried with them discipline, confidence, and grace; gifts nurtured through years of classical arts training, yoga, and education  at Sarvam Foundation. Voices That Break Barriers Among them, Khushi and Ujaja  stood on stage with a mic, delivering a speech to a hall full of distinguished professionals. Imagine the courage it takes for a girl, who once doubted if her voice even mattered, to stand in front of hundreds and speak with confidence. That courage is the true measure of empowerment. A Performance That Stole Hearts For around ten minutes, the stage was alive with rhythm, movement, and energy. The grace of their dance  held the audience in awe. People weren’t just watching a performance of dance and yoga; they were witnessing transformation: young girls, once silenced by circumstance, now shining as cultural ambassadors. Behind the Curtain: Managing 90 Shaktis There was another kind of magic unfolding. Seniors helped juniors with their costumes, some fixed each other’s makeups, others calmed their nervous friends. The room was buzzing with energy -there was discipline, laughter, and a strength that showed how much they’ve grown together. These little moments of care and teamwork are as much a part of Sarvam as the final performance itself. Bringing 90 girls to a single stage  is no easy feat. It took weeks of preparation, coordination, and teamwork. Teachers, volunteers, and the Shaktis themselves worked tirelessly from perfecting choreography to arranging logistics proving that empowerment is not just about performance, but about discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Grateful to Rotary International We are deeply grateful to the Rotary International Club  for giving our Shaktis this platform. Partnerships like these don’t just create events; they create memories, confidence, and capacity that last a lifetime. Every time our Shaktis step onto a stage like this, they break barriers in their communities. They prove to themselves, their families, and the world that marginalized girls can thrive when given the chance . At Sarvam,  we believe empowerment is not taught in classrooms alone; it is lived on stages, in speeches, and in moments where girls discover their own strength. This evening at Orana Conventions was not just a performance. It was a glimpse into the future we are building: a future where every girl, no matter her background, can stand tall, speak proudly, and shine fearlessly. The stage ended. Their journey doesn’t. And we, as Sarvam, will keep making sure of that.We are Sarvam Shakti. This is who we are. See Full Youtube Video Here👉 Written By: Anusha Verma

  • Freedom Still Has Half a Wing

Every year,  on 15th August , our skies fill with flags and our voices rise in unison for “azaadi.”  Yet, somewhere deep down, we know; the truest test of a nation’s freedom lies not in its speeches or parades, but in the lives of its women. Because what is freedom when a girl is told that her education is less important than her brother's? What is independence when a bride is measured only by the dowry she brings? What is liberty when women still silence themselves at home, at work, and in society just to be accepted? The truth is harsh:  our daughters, sisters, and mothers are still shackled. The chains are no longer colonial, they are cultural. The walls are no longer foreign, they are built inside our homes. India cannot call itself free until its women are free.  A bird cannot fly with one wing. But here lies the glimmer of change. At Sarvam Foundation , we see this every day. Our Shaktis  are the daughters of auto drivers, vegetable vendors, daily wage workers, girls who, by society’s standards, should have been married by 16, invisible by 18, forgotten by 20. But instead, they are dancing on stage with pride, teaching in schools, interning at Marriott Hotels, earning degrees, and most importantly breaking the silence in their own homes. They are learning  classical arts, yoga, computers, English, and with every class, they are also learning something no textbook ever taught them  that they have a voice, and it matters. Eleven of our Shaktis are interning as teachers at The Heritage School in Delhi. Eleven more are training at Marriott Hotels while pursuing their degrees. More than 395 girls across three Indian states are standing tall against the narrative that once bound them. Every yoga session, every dance practice, every computer class is not just skill-building; it is resistance. It is saying to the world: “We refuse to be caged.” This is not charity. This is justice. Because the measure of a nation’s progress is not in its GDP or tallest buildings. It is in the dignity of its daughters . It is in the freedom of its women to dream, to choose, to exist fully. At Sarvam Shakti, we are not just teaching girls. We are unlearning centuries of silence. We are not just building skills. We are rebuilding futures. We are not just shaping individuals. We are shaping the very definition of freedom in this country. So the question is not whether India is independent. The question is: when will its women be? Until then, our work continues. And every time a girl raises her hand in class, steps onto a stage, or signs her first salary slip, we know freedom is inching closer. Because true independence will not be the day we celebrate, but the day when no girl in India has to fight for her own. We are Sarvam Shakti. We are breaking barriers. And we believe: the future is free, when she  is free. Written By- Anusha Verma

  • Why Every Girl Deserves a Seat in the Classroom

Education  has long been a key to unlocking human potential. Yet millions of girls around the world  are still denied the chance to learn. While the gender gap in education  is gradually narrowing, many girls remain excluded from classrooms due to deep-rooted societal, economic, and cultural barriers . Ensuring that every girl receives an education isn’t just a matter of fairness—it’s essential for building stronger communities , reducing poverty , and creating a more just world . Breaking the Cycle of Poverty One of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty  is education . Educated girls  grow into women who: Earn higher incomes Support their families Invest in their children’s education Contribute to a cycle of intergenerational prosperity According to UNESCO, every additional year of schooling  can increase a woman’s earnings by up to 20% . Denying girls an education doesn't just limit individual potential—it stifles economic growth  and perpetuates poverty  at a national level. Empowering Girls to Make Informed Choices An educated girl  is more likely to: Make informed choices about her health , marriage , and career Delay early marriage Raise healthier families Stand up for her rights  and challenge harmful norms Education gives girls the confidence and skills  to shape their futures and take part in decisions that affect their lives and communities. Driving Economic Growth and Development The benefits of educating girls go far beyond the individual . Studies show that countries with higher rates of female education  experience: Faster economic growth More women in the workforce Greater levels of entrepreneurship  and innovation Investing in girls’ education  is one of the most efficient ways to power sustainable development . Governments and organizations must recognize that every girl in school is a step toward national progress . Challenging Gender-Based Violence and Discrimination Educated girls  are more aware of their rights  and are better equipped to: Speak out  against abuse Resist harmful practices like child marriage  and female genital mutilation Challenge gender stereotypes  and cultural norms  that limit their potential Education fosters equality  by creating a society where girls and women are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness . A Call to Action Getting every girl into a classroom  requires collective effort : Governments  must build infrastructure, provide scholarships , and enforce policies that protect girls’ rights. Society  must shift cultural attitudes that discourage girls from going to school. Families  must value their daughters’ education equally  to their sons’. Individuals —every one of us—must speak up and advocate for equal access to education . Every girl deserves a chance to learn , develop , and flourish . Education is power , and when we educate girls, we are giving them the power to shape a better future —for themselves, their families, and the world. The time is now to remove barriers , challenge biases , and ensure that no girl is left behind . Because when a girl learns , she gains the power to change the world . Written By V. • The Importance of Educating Boys About Gender Equality

Gender equality  has long been a subject of global dialogue, often centered on empowering women and girls  to rise above societal constraints. However, for true equality  to take root, we must also focus on educating boys  about fairness , respect , and the dignity of all genders . When boys learn these values from a young age, they grow into men who help create a more inclusive  and equitable world . Dispelling Stereotypes at an Early Age Traditional gender stereotypes  suggest that boys must be strong , dominant , and emotionless , while girls should be nurturing , compliant , and supportive . These rigid roles stifle personal growth  and reinforce inequality . By educating boys about gender equity , we give them permission to: Express their emotions Explore diverse interests Respect the choices and autonomy of others In doing so, we create a culture where boys understand that traits like leadership , empathy , and ambition  are not gender-specific . This foundational shift is essential in building a more balanced and fair society . Fostering Respectful Relationships One of the most transformative outcomes of gender equality education is the development of healthier relationships . When boys are taught to see girls and women as equals , they are more likely to form: Respectful friendships Supportive romantic partnerships Fair workplace dynamics Through lessons on consent , shared responsibilities , and mutual respect , boys grow into men who actively reject toxic masculinity , domestic abuse , and gender-based workplace discrimination . Promoting Equal Opportunities Gender equality isn’t just about opening doors for women—it’s about ensuring equal justice  and access to opportunity  for all. When boys are raised to believe that effort and ability —not gender—determine success, they are more likely to: Support equal access to education Advocate for fair hiring practices Believe in a merit-based society Boys who grow up with these values become adults who champion equality  in their homes, offices, and communities. Shaping Future Leaders for a Fairer World Boys educated about gender fairness  are more likely to become leaders who value inclusivity . Whether in politics , business , or community service , these future men help shape a world where: Diversity  is celebrated Discrimination  is challenged Justice  becomes a shared mission By raising boys who see themselves as allies , not bystanders, we equip them to be active participants  in the fight for social equity . The Role of Parents and Schools Creating gender-aware boys starts at home and continues in the classroom. Both parents  and educators  play vital roles: Parents  can model equal responsibility  and mutual respect  in the household. Schools  should integrate gender-sensitive education  into the curriculum. Encouraging boys to help with household chores , admire female role models , and engage in open conversations about fairness  gives them a balanced perspective  on gender from an early age. Conclusion Empowering girls  is only half the equation. Educating boys  about gender equality is just as crucial. Boys who understand respect , inclusivity , and fairness  grow into men who help create a more just and equal society . By: Breaking stereotypes Encouraging respectful relationships Promoting equal opportunities Raising future leaders we move closer to a world where gender equality  is a shared responsibility . Because a truly equal world can only be built when everyone regardless of gender is part of the conversation and the solution . Edited and Proofread By Yash Gauba

  • The Power of Small Acts

In a world that often feels chaotic , divided , and fast-paced , kindness  can seem like a small and insignificant thing. But the truth is, small acts of kindness  have the power to spark real change . Whether it's holding the door for someone, offering a kind word, or simply smiling at a stranger, these little moments create ripples that turn into waves . The Power of Small Acts Kindness is contagious.  When one person experiences a kind gesture, they’re more likely to pass it on . Imagine a simple moment: you buy a coffee  for the person behind you. That person, feeling touched by the unexpected generosity , might go on to help a coworker, compliment a friend, or donate to a cause. This chain reaction , often called the “pay-it-forward” effect , is backed by research— kindness multiplies when shared . Kindness and Its Real-World Impact History is full of moments where kindness led to change.  Take the story of Rosa Parks . Her quiet but powerful act of staying seated helped ignite the Civil Rights Movement . While not a typical gesture of kindness, it was rooted in self-respect  and the belief that every human being deserves dignity . Even in the corporate world , kindness plays a huge role. Companies that foster empathy and compassion  report: Happier employees Better teamwork Higher productivity Studies show that when leaders lead with kindness , teams feel valued , work harder, and stay loyal . Why Kindness Is Revolutionary A revolution  disrupts the status quo. In a society that often puts power , profit , and competition  first, choosing kindness is a radical act . It says: I choose humanity  over indifference. I choose connection  over isolation. I choose love  over apathy. The best part? You don’t need to be rich , famous , or powerful  to start a revolution. Start now: Listen  to someone who needs to be heard. Reach out  to a struggling friend. Be kind to yourself , too. Creating A World Built on Kindness The beauty of kindness is that it needs no special skills —only intention . Imagine a world where kindness is the norm , not the exception. A world where we uplift  each other instead of tearing each other down. This isn’t a fantasy. It’s a choice —one we can all make, every day. Final Thought Let’s start small. Because small acts of kindness  hold the power to create the biggest changes . A revolution doesn’t always start with loud protests or global headlines it can begin with one person , one moment , and one choice  to be kind. • The Power of Holistic Health in Empowering Young Girls

In today’s fast-paced world, where work, family, and societal expectations often take priority, we may forget to care for our own well-being. But true health isn't just about avoiding illness it’s about balance . It’s about nurturing our body , mind , and spirit  in harmony. This is the power of holistic health a transformative approach that is especially vital when working with m arginalized young girls striving for dignity, identity, and strength. Let’s explore how holistic health builds not only a balanced and successful life  but also stronger, more resilient young leaders. "Empowered girls don’t just survive. They transform the world around them." What Is Holistic Health? Holistic health is a comprehensive philosophy of wellness that sees the individual as a whole physically , emotionally , mentally , and spiritually . It moves beyond treating symptoms in isolation and instead focuses on balance and integration  across all areas of life. It’s not just about surviving; it’s about thriving with purpose and harmony. Mind, Body, and Spirit: A Powerful Connection Physical Health : This is the foundation. A well-nourished, active body leads to higher energy levels, sharper focus, and improved emotional stability. Emotional Health : Our emotions directly affect our bodies. Chronic stress, anxiety, or trauma—common among marginalized communities—can cause fatigue, insomnia, or illness. Teaching mindfulness, self-regulation, and therapy helps girls process their emotions in healthy ways. Spiritual Health : Beyond religion, this is about purpose, values, and a sense of belonging to something greater. Whether through meditation, prayer, or creative expression, spiritual care strengthens inner peace and self-worth—both essential for leadership and growth. How Holistic Health Builds Social Strength Social well-being doesn’t stand alone. It’s deeply connected to our personal health. Empowering girls with holistic care creates ripple effects in their families, schools, and communities. Fostering Healthy Relationships When a girl is emotionally stable and spiritually grounded , she’s more likely to build healthy connections. She listens with empathy, stands up for herself, and nurtures mutual respect. Creating Community Engagement. Girls who learn to care for themselves become agents of care for others. They volunteer, speak up, and lead change. This builds stronger, more compassionate communities. Strengthening Social Resilience When life throws challenges, it’s those with a strong mind, body, and spirit who rise. Holistic health teaches girls how to cope with adversity , manage conflict, and support others in crisis. Everyday Holistic Practices for Young Girls Here are simple, actionable tools your NGO can implement or promote: Mindfulness & Meditation : Helps calm the mind and increase self-awareness. Daily Movement : Even short walks or dance sessions release feel-good hormones. Nutritious Meals : Whole foods fuel both the body and brain development. Journaling & Therapy : Builds emotional intelligence and confidence. Spiritual Exploration : Whether in nature, prayer, or creative arts, this nurtures the soul. The Power of Integration When all parts of a person work together, something powerful  happens. Girls begin to feel whole not broken by their circumstances, but rebuilt through resilience. They speak up. They lead. They rise. Proofread and Edited by: Yash Gauba

  • Gratitude is a Superpower

Life moves fast. We’re always chasing the next goal, worrying about what’s missing, or stressing over things that didn’t go as planned. But what if we hit pause, just for a moment and looked at what we already have? That’s where gratitude comes in. It’s not just about saying “thank you” every now and then. Gratitude is a mindset—a shift in how we see the world. And trust me, it can change everything. Shifting Perspectives: The Gratitude Mindset When you start focusing on what you have  instead of what you lack , your entire outlook changes. You stop feeling like you’re always behind and start appreciating the little things—like that first sip of coffee, a surprise message from a friend, or a quiet moment to yourself. And science backs this up! Studies show that people who practice gratitude regularly sleep better, stress less, and feel happier overall. Gratitude also changes how we handle challenges. Instead of viewing setbacks as failures, we start seeing them as lessons. Let’s be real—life isn’t always smooth sailing. But when we ask, “What can I learn from this?” we build resilience. We move from dwelling on problems to finding solutions. That’s a game-changer. Gratitude Strengthens Relationships & Communities Ever notice how good it feels when someone truly appreciates you? Gratitude strengthens our relationships. Whether it’s family, friends, or even strangers, showing appreciation builds connection. A simple “I’m grateful for you” can make someone’s day—and create a culture of kindness. And it doesn’t stop there. A grateful community is a powerful one. When people feel seen and valued, they’re more likely to help others, volunteer, donate, or just pass on the positivity. One act of kindness leads to another—and that ripple effect is how real change begins. Easy Ways to Practice Gratitude Every Day You don’t need to make huge changes to feel the impact of gratitude. Small, consistent habits can have a big effect. Here are a few simple ways to start: Keep a Gratitude Journal  – Each day, write down three things you’re thankful for—no matter how small. Say It Out Loud  – Let people know you appreciate them. A text, a note, or a kind word face-to-face goes a long way. Be Present  – Slow down. Notice and savor the good moments around you. Flip the Script on Challenges  – Ask, “What can I learn from this?” instead of “Why is this happening to me?” Pay It Forward  – Kindness counts. Hold the door, help a neighbor, share a smile.
